| Paul Lingard (company
director, activities coordinator, key worker) Paul
has worked within the learning disability services since 1995. Initially
with Chrysalis holidays, an established organisation providing holidays
for adults with learning disabilities. Paul spent 18 months with the chrysalis
staff team as a volunteer, where he learnt the values ethics and morality
that has seen him through his career in the learning disability service.
Paul then went on to work as a support worker in the learning disability
service for local government before taking up a position as home manager
in the private sector in 2000.
Whilst working as a home manager Paul undertook many training courses
and seminars, including advanced first aid, moving and handling, medication
administration, as well as completing his NVQ
level four and Registered
Manager award and A1 assessor award. Paul has also recently been working
for City College Manchester as a part time lecturer, training and assessing
a level 2 medication administration course run by ASET.

Jane-Ann Lingard
(company secretary, key worker, )
Like Paul, Jane-Ann. started
her career in the learning disabilities service as a volunteer with Chrysalis
holidays. Jane spent much of the spare time she had off from studying
her language degree at university supporting service users on Chrysalis
holidays.
Jane went on to work firstly as a support worker for Calderstones N H
S trust then as a home manager.
Whilst as a home manager Jane continued to further her education and completed
an open university degree in Health
and Social Care in 2000 Jane also underwent extensive training in
first aid, moving and handling, along with many mandatory courses.
Jane’s relentless pursuit of education led her to City College Manchester,
in 2002 where she began working for the Health
Training Services Department training and teaching NVQ in social care
levels 2 - 4, Jane also teaches first aid, food hygiene, personal care,
moving and handling, infection control along with medication administration.
Jane completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education in 2005 and
is a qualified assessor and verifier.

| Sharon ( staff team
leader, care co-ordinator, key worker )
Sharon was one of the founder
members of the Chrysalis holidays staff team where she worked relentlessly
as a volunteer support worker for 8 years, before they relocated to Wales.
Whilst working as a Chrysalis volunteer Sharon learnt and taught many
skills, values, and morals to many a volunteer , Paul and Jane-Ann included.
After Chrysalis relocated to Wales Sharon took up position in the private
sector, supporting adults within their own home and out in the community.
Sharon has obtained an NVQ level 3 in social care as well as attending
many training courses, moving and handling, first aid, medication administration.
Sharon’s experience, skills, flexibility, and adaptability makes
her a valued member to any staff team and her general understanding and
ability to connect with people makes it a privilege for us to be working
alongside her again here at Papillon holidays!

| Alan (support key worker)
Alan is the youngest and most
energetic member of our team.
Alan started his vocation in the learning disabilities service in 2002.
He has worked in several areas of the service wear he has obtained a lot
of experience of working in different settings and meeting varied care
and personal needs in a short time.
Alan is qualified as a level 3 NVQ in social care and has attended and
been certificated for many training courses , including moving and handling,
health and safety, 1st aid, and medication awareness.
